In business since 2005 making Octalex and its brand OGL LED, one of the longest established and experienced manufacturers of LED luminaires in Australia. Octalex designs, engineers, manufactures and supplies market leading high quality OGL LED lighting from medium to high-power/high lumens output. Octalex sources only the highest quality components from ISO9001 accredited suppliers. Octalex LEDs have proven reliability and performance with luminaires running in field 24/7 and not only achieving, but exceeding 50,000 hours in their lifetime.

Octalex offers custom design and engineering consultancy services to develop and demonstrate OGL LED lighting solutions, including intelligent lighting systems for indoor and outdoor environments.

OCTALEX from the beginning was a pioneer company. Below is our journey:

2008 – Patent design and manufacture of LED downlight with light output equivalent to 50Watt halogen with its lifetime of 50,000 hours

2010 – Design and manufacture of LED commercial luminaires – replacement for 150 metal halide luminaire

2012 – Design and manufacture of variety of LED luminaires for two Holiday Inn Hotels in Papua New Guinea

2013 - Octalex Lighting Engineering opens in Poland

2014 – Design, development and manufacture of ZigBee – Pro wireless lighting control module (WILS) and GUI for commercial lighting wireless control, pre-failure reporting and maintenance. Released to the market at 2014 Frankfurt Light and Building exhibition

2016 – Design, development and manufacture of ZigBee-Pro wireless control module and GUI for Street Solar Luminaires. Released to the market at 2016 Frankfurt Light and Building exhibition

2016 – Design, development and manufacture of innovating, very low profile LED downlights, suitable to be covered with roof insulation. Released to the market at 2016 Frankfurt Light and Building exhibition.

2018 - Design, development and manufacture of innovating, very low profile LED downlight, suitable to be covered with roof insulation with build in IC LED driver, which got in 2019 - A Sapphire award from USA LED magazine

2019 - Patent design and manufacture of innovating Central Ventilation Control Module (CVCM) to enable to replace multiple bathroom ventilation stand-alone exhaust fans

2020 – Design and development of very low profile LED downlight with Bluetooth 5 Mesh wireless control for residential and commercial applications
